Lora Kirk is one of Canada’s finest in the culinary industry. She has been in the international culinary industry for over 15 years. She learnt the importance of supporting the local farmers and producers at a very early age while working on her grandparents farm. After that, she set out to pursue her goal of becoming a chef.
Lora moved to England after finishing her culinary education from Algonquin College. During her career, she has worked with several successful chef figures in the world including Chef Gordon Ramsay and Angela Hartnett. After moving back to Ontario, she became a chef at Four Seasons restaurant Truffle. She shot to fame for winning the five diamond award for two consecutive years. She has also been acknowledged with awards like ‘Top 30 under 30 award’ and the ‘nine of dine award 2010.’ She has also been a special guest on Iron Chef America.
Receiving a Michelin star was one of her greatest achievements within the culinary industry. She is now one of the most high profile female Chef’s in Canada and a role model for anyone aspiring to make it big in the culinary industry.
